Rock Chalk!!!

PERFECT start to the Christmas Break!  Although I had to watch the game by myself (well...with Bailey and Riley) today was Josh Selby's first game!  He definitely lived up to all the hype.  Had an amazing game, and we beat USC by 3.  The game about gave me a heart attack, but those are always fun (as long as we come out on top!)  I am a DIE HARD KU fan....and am in a bad mood the rest of the day, or longer, when we lose.  So, I'm glad we won so I won't be pouty all weekend!!  ROOOCCCCKKKK CHALLLKKKKK JAAAAYYYYHAWWWWWK, KKKKK UUUUUU!!!!

Well, I'm waiting for Jason to get home from work so that we can get packed to go back to KC.  I am super excited because we are actually going to make it back EARLY this year!  My little brother's birthday is December 20, and I haven't been back for it since we've moved.  But Jason got his meetings in early, so we are heading back tomorrow morning (Sunday) for his birthday dinner at the farm.  I'm so excited to get home.  I love our house all decorated at Christmas time, but it's just not the same as heading home to our parents house!  My brothers will already be there obviously, but Jason's sister Jordyn will be heading in next week, and Jayme Mark and the boys will be coming in Sunday after Christmas.   Then the Monday after Christmas we are having a bridal shower for Jordyn at the O'Bryan house...then Tuesday we leave for New York City!  Yaaaa!!  I will write again when we get back to Texas, until then-Merry Christmas!

Very First Blog Post!

Alright, so I absolutely LOVE reading people's blogs.  I decided awhile ago that I wanted to have one for me and Jason when we got pregnant.  Since we are living down here in Texas, I figured it was a great way for everyone to keep updated with what is going on with us down here!  Well...obviously I'm not preggers yet.  I got bored one day and decided to start designing a blog, but not actually writing in it.  Hey, I wanted to reserve our domain name ok??

Jason and I went up to KC this past November for Thanksgiving.  It was so fun to just relax and hang out with our families.  We both get so homesick every time we go home.  We love our life down in TX, but it's just hard when most of our friends and family live within 15 miles of each other!

While enduring the 8 hour drive back down to Dallas, we had a long convo on babies/where our lives were going (we may or may not have taken an adderall to make us super chatty hehe).  We are both definitely in the same place on when we want to start a family.  Jason's sister Jordyn is getting married on January 29, 2011 and the whole O'Bryan clan is going to Mexico the day after the wedding for a week.  I definitely do NOT want to be pregnant on a beach in Mexico (where we plan to go shark diving, zip lining, as well as going out every night).  Our plan is to start trying in February.  So exciting!  I can't wait to have a little Jason or Angie running around.  I know that we will have our hands full if they are anything like us! :)  We can't wait to see what he/she is like.

SO!  We decided to start the blog now so that we can have it to look back on.  It's almost Christmas time and I can't wait to get back up to Kansas to spend it with our families and friends!  Oh!  We also just booked our trip to NYC for New Years Eve!  I have never been so I am pretty excited about seeing it, especially around Christmas time.  Better get my gloves and hat ready...probably not going to be quite like our Texas weather!  :)
